とは言え、怪奇幻想、ゴシックに40年以上憑りつかれている俺としては、やるからには徹底的にやらないと気がすまない（笑）「フロアに異界を召喚する、闇の記憶装置」をコンセプトとする俺の知識と感性、経験値を注ぎ込み、コンセプチュアルなDJスタイルの俺の到達点と自負できる完成度の高いセットリストが出来たんじゃないかと思う。多分、これを超えるセットリストは当分作れないんじゃなかろうか。

でも、ホラー映画のサントラで皆が知っていて盛り上がる曲って意外と少ない。DJ同士で曲が被りまくりそうだし、鉄板のゴブリンなんかは何曲もかかりそう。かと言って、人と絶対に被らないであろう俺が好きな古典的な怪奇映画はオーケストラサウンドばかりだから、かなり聴く人を選ぶし、踊れないから盛り上がらないのは必至。

いや、でも俺がやるからにはやっぱり古典怪奇映画をやらなきゃねえ？と悩みに悩んで、持ち時間60分のうち半分は古典吸血鬼映画のオーケストラサウンドをやろうと決めていざ当日。

出番が終盤だったこともあって、それ以外が被りまくった（笑）

急いで一部の構成を変えるも、やっぱり『魔人ドラキュラ』の白鳥の湖をかけたら皆、ポカンとしている。まあ、そりゃそうだよね。このままでは場が持ちそうになかったので、1曲毎に映画の解説入れるMCしながらDJ。さらには保険として飛び道具で持って行った、悪魔城伝説の音楽もかけて、普段の俺のスタイルとは大分違ったDJプレイとなりました。でも、これはこれで楽しかったかな。VJへのお客さんの反応も良かったし、また機会があったらやりたいな。
